This garden was surrounded by large Leylandii Hedge which Kelly Garden Services removed the previous year. The client wanted a beech hedge which we selected and planted in between the old Leylandii stumps. A handful of blood and bone meal fertilizer into each hole when planting will ensure the hedge gets a good start. It is important to keep a new hedge weed free for 2 to 3 years and mulching is the best option in this case.
